Urban Farm Dinner
Join Us in Celebrating 27 Years of Conservation!
The Rio Grande Agricultural Land Trust invites you to join us for an unforgettable evening at our Urban Farm Dinner!
This exclusive dinner for thirty attendees will be held at the Farm Shark, an urban farm in Albuquerque’s South Valley on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 from 6:00 pm to dusk. The four-course dinner will be grown, curated and exquisitely prepared by the Farm Shark team. This intimate event will be held on a covered patio overlooking their farm where they raise vegetables, flowers, fruits, goats, chickens, bees, and their toddler son.
This year RGALT’s fundraiser event is intended to be a more intimate and “slow food” dinner experience, allowing time for conversations to evolve between guests and our team. RGALT’s conservation focus area in the middle Rio Grande includes a diverse array of agriculture – family farms ranging from one acre to hundreds of acres. In the past we have held our annual fundraiser at larger farms; this year we want to showcase the diverse bounty of a small urban family farm with a field to plate experience you won’t soon forget!
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to savor the flavors of the local harvest with your community and experience a diversified vegetable operation in Albuquerque’s South Valley, all while supporting RGALT’s mission to protect land and water for people and wildlife, forever!
We can’t wait to see you there!
