The Rio Grande Agricultural Land Trust (RGALT) is thrilled to be celebrating 20 years of dedication to protecting the land we all cherish for people and for wildlife in Central, New Mexico. Over the past 20 years, we have brought millions of federal and state dollars to central New Mexico for our community-based, collaborative conservation work. Our successes have been made possible due to the support of our many dedicated partners – agencies, other non-profits, businesses, foundations, landowners, private individuals, community support – and of course, you

On September 17, 2017, we celebrated our 20th anniversary over a farm-to-fork feast of New Mexico’s finest ingredients. As the evening drew to a close, a light sun-shower reminded us how important the monsoon and other water resources are to our agricultural communities in New Mexico. We shared stories about our love of New Mexico’s landscapes, laughed through a lively auction, and built relationships with new friends who share common visions of the Middle Rio Grande Valley. This event was delicious and inspiring and started our next 20 years of land protection off on the right foot. We thank everyone who was able to attend and/or contribute to this year’s dinner. It’s success depended on you
