Private Landowners

The Rio Grande Agricultural Land Trust works with private landowners interested in conveying  conservation easements to protect their land. Conservation easements are voluntary, legally binding deed restrictions, an agreement between a landowner and a land trust or government agency, that permanently limits uses of the land in order to protect its conservation values.
